The house

We build it.
Then we own it.

Very few AI projects fail because the idea was wrong. They fail on retrieval quality, evaluation, cost per request, attribution, and the several hundred unglamorous decisions between a demo that charms a room and a system that survives real traffic. That is the work we do, for companies whose names go on the result rather than ours.

Who runs it

Travis Moher.

Founder & Principal

A senior digital operator across e-commerce, paid media, brand, and AI product — running the firm and an owned portfolio from the same playbook, on purpose.

The firm is deliberately small and deliberately senior. There is no account layer between you and the people doing the work, no junior pyramid billing hours against a discovery phase, and no hand-off between the team that sold it and the team that builds it. What that costs us in headcount it returns in speed and in the quality of the answer you get on a Tuesday afternoon.

What makes that structure work is the same thing that makes the pitch honest: we operate our own properties on the same stack we sell. Every engine, every integration, every measurement decision has already been tested against our own money before it reaches a client.

Client surfaces carry the client’s brand. Owned properties stay private. A good operator is invisible on the work — the results should be the only thing anyone can point to.

The position

The layer between a working demo and a system in production.

Very few AI projects fail because the idea was wrong. 1. 01

    We ship, we don't advise

No strategy deck as a deliverable. The output is running software with your name on the repo.

  2. 02

We use the tools we sell

The same stack runs a portfolio we own. Patterns reach clients only after they've survived our own traffic.

  3. 03

    We never compete with you

A supplier that launches into its clients' categories is not a supplier. We build for your market, never in it.

  4. 04

    You own everything

Repos, cloud accounts, domains, tracking, ad accounts. Fire us on a Friday, ship on Monday.

Delivery

Scoped in a week. Live in three.

No discovery phase you pay for twice. The first deploy goes out narrow and real, and everything after it widens a road that already carries traffic.

One working session, then a scope document: what ships, what doesn't, what it costs, what we need from you. No sixty-page discovery invoice.

Output
  • Scope doc
  • Architecture sketch
  • Fixed price or rate + ceiling
Coverage

The category changes. The problem doesn’t.

Demand, conversion, measurement, iteration. Every vertical below runs the same loop on different data — which is why the tooling travels and the domain expertise stays yours.

House rules

Five rules we don’t break.

  1. 01

    Ship, don't advise.

The deliverable is running software, not a recommendation about software.

  2. 02

    Attribution or it didn't happen.

Every link tracked, every conversion attributed. Opinions welcome after the data lands.

  3. 03

    You own the assets.

Repos, cloud, domains, ad accounts in your name. Nothing held hostage.

  4. 04

We never compete with a client.

We build for your market, never in it, and decline work that would place us opposite you.

  5. 05

    The supplier is invisible.

Your surfaces carry your brand. Ours stays off the work.

Three ways in

Build. Operate. Partner.

Pick by how much of the outcome you want us holding. We’ll say so if you’ve picked the wrong one.

  1. 01

    Build.

Fixed scope. You own the output outright and run it yourself.

You know what you need built.

  2. 02

    Operate.

Retained. We run what we built and report against contribution.

You need it built and run.

  3. 03

    Partner.

Equity or revenue share. Selective, and we say no often.

You want an operator, not a vendor.

About moher.ai

Questions we get.

01
What does moher.ai do?
moher.ai is an AI development company — a build shop. We make AI product, attribution and data infrastructure, demand systems, and content engines for other companies. The deliverable is running software, not a strategy deck.
02
Why work with a specialist rather than hire in-house?
Most AI projects do not fail on the idea. They fail on retrieval quality, evaluation, cost per request and attribution — the layer between a working demo and a system in production. That layer is what we build every day, and you keep it: the repository, the cloud accounts and the documentation are yours throughout.
03
Do you compete with your clients?
No. We build for your market, never in it. We do operate a portfolio of our own properties, but it exists as a proving ground for the tooling, and we decline engagements that would place us opposite a client in their own category.
04
Who owns the code and the accounts?
You do, from the first commit. Repositories, cloud accounts, domains, tracking and ad accounts are all in your name. You could end the engagement on a Friday and ship on Monday.
05
How fast can you start, and how do you work?
Scope in a week, first production deploy usually inside three to four. One thin slice goes live end to end early, then we widen it in weekly increments measured against an evaluation harness.
06
What industries does moher.ai work in?
We have shipped into twelve — consumer apps, commerce and affiliate, financial services, legal, real estate, home services, health and wellness, food and beverage, travel, arts, local services, and media. The tooling is vertical-agnostic; the domain expertise stays with the client.
07
Does moher.ai build mobile apps?
Yes. Native iOS and Android shipped through both app stores, sharing a codebase with web where the product allows it.
08
Who runs moher.ai?
Travis Moher, founder and principal. A senior digital operator across AI product, e-commerce, paid media and brand. The team is deliberately small and senior — there is no account layer between you and the people building.
